Many events and festivals add to the colour and variety of village life. Attractions in the summer are the Folklore Festival, the Swiss Food Festival and the Zermatt Festival, in winter the opening ceremony for the Christmas tree and the curling tournament, in spring the Zermatt Unplugged concert series. The Mont Cervin Palace is within easy walking distance of all the event locations.
In fine weather the small sun terrace in front of the hotel invites you to take a front-row seat and watch the colourful bustle of the "Bahnhofstrasse".
