Belmond La Residencia, Mallorca

Belmond La Residencia is situated in the charming coastal and mountain village of Deià on the northwest coast of Mallorca in the middle of the Tramuntana Mountains, World Heritage Site, and has a dramatic backdrop of an amphitheatre of lofty mountain crags and offers a stunning panorama over the blue Mediterranean below.  The village was once home to Robert Graves and has been chosen as residence by a number of writers and artists. Bar at Cafè Mirò is displaying original Mirò masterpieces. 

LOCATION 

Constructed of local stone and hidden among the foothills of the Sierra Tramuntana, the hotel is just a stone's throw away from the Mediterranean and situated in the hillside town of Deia on Majorca’s west coast, Spain. Just a short walk to the village, the hotel’s location allows easy access to the surrounding area and the city of Palma, which services the island’s only airport. 

ROOMS 

All interiors and exteriors of the hotel are in traditional Mallorcan architectural style with furnishings and fittings of great beauty. Much of the furniture consists of antique pieces, many of these from Mallorca, which blend in with the surroundings and add charm to the building. There are 31 doubles, 4 singles, 26 junior suites and 6 suites, some with private pool, and a 3-bedroom villa. Fresh flowers and fruit are placed in all rooms each day. You can enjoy two outdoor pools, a spa with an indoor heated pool, gymnasium, sauna, outdoor Jacuzzi, two tennis courts, steam room and beauty salon which offers a range of beauty treatments including massage, hydrotherapy, facials and general body pampering during your holiday in Mallorca.

You can choose among three different restaurants. The El Olivo Restaurant occupies what was once the Son Moragues olive press, is renowned as being one of the best restaurants in Spain. The Cafè Mirò is open every day and offers a special Tapas Menu and live music entertainment during summer months. The Pool Restaurant is located by the pools and offers a great variety of Mediterranean dishes for lunch.
