During this unusual period of global uncertainty and disruption, we would like to send you our gratitude and our warmest wishes. While we are practicing social distancing and enjoying the solitude, we come to realise that human touch has become more precious than ever.

But amid the uncertainty, we’re going to keep talking about travel because travel – and all the human connections it brings – makes life richer. We’re going to keep talking about travel because it gives us hope – and we want it to give you hope too. And, honestly, it’s surprising how refreshing just a ten-minute diversion for wanderlust feels. All the amazing destinations has been here for thousands of years and they will still be there when we are all ready to travel.

Until then, we hope you all stay safe and keep dreaming.

Please postpone, not cancel. Keep the travel sparks alive!

Changing the date of that booked holiday could be the kindest thing to do right now. Rather than seeking a refund, simply postponing plans might be a greater help than you could imagine. It may not feel right even thinking about travel right now – but we will want to. And until we do, there are a lot of people out there relying on tourism. All the amazing destinations has been here for thousands of years and they will still be there when we are all ready to travel (we hope this will be soon!)

Defer, don’t drop that trip.

Update your bucket list

Dreaming of our bucket list destinations always put a smile on our faces. The bucket list is always a dynamic list - it changes with age and experience.  Now that it seems we are having a pause, it is a good time for us to  re-prioritize , add to and renew our travel bucket list.

Whether you’re marking something as “completed” or not – which in itself feels empowering – redraft your bucket list or start a new one if you’ve never done it before.

Plan your next trip

Anticipating an adventure can be just as powerful as actually visiting a place. But you can’t look forward to something unless you plan for it.

Virtuoso’s CEO Matthew D. Upchurch says, “The allure of travel to the human spirit cannot be contained.” The joy of travel begins with the excitement of planning. It extends to the experience itself. And it lives on in the memories we make, memories that only grow more valuable over time.

Don't stop dreaming and planning your next big adventure.  Though the world seems to pause right now, this too shall pass. New discoveries, new lands, new cultures are what will keep us moving!

Even though you might not be able to select specific dates at the moment, you can start by working with your travel advisor to create your ideal itinerary that suit you best.
