Set across from the Royal Palace, is one of the landmark historic hotels of the legendary Grand Tour of Indochina. Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor first opened its doors in 1932 but the legend lives on today after careful restoration. Raffles Grand Hotel d'Angkor epitomises Cambodian charm and elegance. Each of the spacious 119 guestrooms, suites and villas are tastefully appointed with Cambodian object d’art style furnishings some retained from when the hotel opened its doors in 1932. Every room has stunning views of either the magnificent pool or the expansive gardens and many with balconies to take in the view and fresh air. For families and couples alike, Poolside Villas separate from the main building offer the ultimate in comfort and privacy. Romance is in the air with Cabana Suites that feature a separate living room, two bathrooms and a terrace with access through the gardens to the pool.  The original landmark built the Landmark Rooms with high beam ceilings, historic bathrooms complete with original claw-foot baths and large private balconies give guests a feeling of yesteryear. For more space enjoy the Personality Suites which take their names from some of the personalities who have been associated by the Angor area. Lastly, the State Rooms are spacious and located in the wing that was added in 1997 yet still have the same colonial charm but with modern comfort including separate shower and bath.
