Pikaia Lodge, Galápagos

Hidden in a secluded location and nestled on top of an extinct volcano crater.  Pikaia Lodge is a stunning new alternative for exploring the "Last paradise on Earth" in a comfortable and truly sustainable land based way.  Its concept designed for the environmentally conscious, physically active eco-adventure traveler, who seeks close contact with the unique natural wonders of the Galapagos with the highest level of comfort and services that could be reazonably provided within the limitations of such a remote, restricted and eco-sensitive location. LOCATION 

In the central area of Archipelago, the Santa Cruz Island provided us with the perfect opportunity to develop our unique land based day tour concept, since the most interesting islands, secluded white sandy beaches and wildlife sites of the Galapagos National Park are nearby. All these can be reached within relatively short navigation times on board our large, comfortable, safe and stable oceangoing yacht Pikaia I. Discover some of the finest beaches of the Galapagos near the lodge, by taking a stroll, you can come face to face with a wild giant tortoise.

ROOMS & SUITES

All rooms and suites were designed for having an optimal natural cross ventilation and thermal insulation for natural cooling. They have remote controlled split Air conditioners and ventilators for maximum guest comfort. Floors are made of Bamboo wood for bare foot comfort. Windows have black out curtains for late sleepers.

6 Terrace Rooms  on the ground floor are nestled on top of the small plateau of our main crater and are conveniently close to the main building. All of them have panoramic floor to ceiling windows with access to private shaded terraces with breathtaking unobstructed views to the Galapagos National Park savanna and volcanic cones, to other islands and the Pacific Ocean. Another 6 Balcony Rooms are located in the first floor,  balcony on the second floor, with a modern and cozy contemporary style decor and are naturally well lighted. 

The garden suite has panoramic floor to ceiling windows with access to a private shaded terrace with breathtaking unobstructed views to the Galapagos National Park savanna and volcanic cones, to other islands and the Pacific Ocean. 

Pook suite is sat on ground floor terrace with a plunge pool and private garden, with a modern and cozy contemporary style decor and is naturally well lighted. It is furnished with a king size bed with cotton linens, duvet covers and plush hypoallergenic pillows, a desk with chair and a sofa-bed with two comfortable lounge chairs.

HIGHLIGHTS 

Two exclusive 105 ft Yacht for the most complete and comfortable to offer the only one day tour experience in the Galapagos.  Large dive-deck has been re-designed for an optimal land and snorkeling day tour operation .Due to its size, weight and stabilizers, guests can cruise to nearby islands without feeling seasick, as can happen on smaller, lighter day tour boats. After swimming, hiking or snorkeling, guests can relax in their private air conditioned cabins and take a fresh-water shower in their ensuite bathrooms. The yacht boasts large open sun decks, a shadow deck, hot tub and a spacious air conditioned living and dining room. Crew will prepare and serve breakfasts and lunch buffets while navigating to the other islands.
